These are the complete steps in order to register and login into the LPMS Program for www.lacitizens.com

IF YOU HAVE ALREADY REGISTERED ONLINE, SKIP PART I.

PART 1

REGISTER FOR ACCESS

Register for access to the LPMSProgram @ www.lacitizens.com

1.      On the home page, click on the link in the Sub Menu that says:

Register For Access

This will bring up the form that must be completed online and submitted.

Note: All fields required have an asterisk preceding the name and must be filled out. If any are left out, your registration will NOT be received.

2.      Once you have clicked the submit button. A red message will appear above the yellow information block that says:Your Application Is Being Processed or you will recieve the following message:

Thank You For Registering. Your Application Has been Received. We Are Currently Processing Your License Number.

Once you have been Approved, You Will Receive An Email From Webmaster@lacitizens.com with the subject line: Lacitizens Web Access.

It will Contain Your User ID and Login. Please Allow 24 hours for this email.

Note: You will receive an email from webmaster@lacitizens.com with your login information included.

 If you do not receive this email the same day, please check your junk mail for the email. See PART 4.

PART 2

LOGGING INTO THE SITE

1.      Enter your Login and Password into the text fields and click OK.

If you have successfully logged into the LPMS Program, the screen below will appear.

If you are using an invalid login or password, you will receive this message;

If you are simply brought back to the main screen, you have a pop-up blocker enabled and must either disable it or allow pop-ups for either *.lacitizens.com or http://lpmsweb.lacitizens.com.

See PART 3 to allow pop-ups if you are using IE (Microsoft’s Internet Explorer Browser).

PART 3

ALLOWING POP-UPS FOR WWW.LACITIZENS.COM

You must allow pop-ups for www.lacitizens.com in order to login to the LPMS Quote Program.

Follow the instructions below in order to do this.

Allowing Pop-ups for the www.lacitizens.com Quote Program

This will allow pop-ups for www.lacitizens.com if the pop up blocker being used is the built-in Microsoft Pop-up Blocker for Internet Explorer (IE).

Using IE explorer:

  1. Click on tools on the menu items at the top of your browser.
  2. Navigate down to pop-up blocker.

  1. Click on pop-up blocker settings
  2. Once the property box opens type in the text field: *.lacitizens.com
  3. Click the add button and then click the close button at the bottom.

  1. Close down any websites you may have open and return to login screen for the LPMS quote program (www.lacitizens.com).

You may have more than one program doing the blocking and if one is blocking, then that one will override all others that are disabled.

Some things to check are as follows:

  1. A Google, Yahoo or MSN tool bar that is installed on the browser. These typically have there own blockers.
  2. A MacAfee or Norton product that has its own blocker.
  3. Ad aware or some other spy ware protection program.

If you are not sure where this is coming from, it is recommended that you have your computer tech person look at your computer to determine which is being used.

PART 4

WHAT TO DO IF YOU HAVE NOT RECEIVED AND EMAIL

Note: Emails are automatically sent from the systems email address (webmaster@lacitizens.com) to the email provided by the person registering. Some spam filters may send this email to the junk folder of your email account. Please make sure you do not have an old email from this email address.

If you have not received an email within two business days and need to contact System Support for the Quote Program, please have the following information on hand:

  1. The first and last name of the person that was registered
  2. The Louisiana Producers Number (800XXXX) that is found on the commission statements that was used during registration.
  3. Email address that was used during registration.
  4. The Department OF Insurance Property and Casualty Number used during registration.
