Metairie, LA | | | | Job Description: | | The Claims Examiner is responsible to handle property and liability cases of various complexity and/or exposure, directs the investigation and settlement activities of Field Adjusters, determines coverage applicable to a loss and pays claims within designated authority.
| | | | Job Requirements: | | Candidates must have the ability to review, investigate, confirm coverage, determine liability, establish damages, negotiate settlements and rely on experience and judgment to perform assigned tasks.
Candidates should possess general knowledge of insurance contracts and claims settlement practices. Three plus years of property adjusting experience, Bachelor’s Degree and LA Adjuster’s license required. | | |
