Job Title: Large Loss SupervisorJob Location: Baton Rouge, LA
 
Job Description: 
The Large Loss Supervisor works with internal examiners to provide guidance, direction, and oversight in the review of  large losses to ensure accuracy, compliance to claims process, procedures, industry practices, adherence to  state regulations, and ultimately granting monetary authority to extend payment on claim files. 

 
Job Requirements: 
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Trains and assists large loss examiners on coverage, liability and damage issues
• Responds to procedural inquiries from service providers
• Monitors workflow, pending, and assignments through various systems
• Maintains log of all files reviewed
• Reviews, approves, and releases checks in claim system
• Secures payment authority when warranted
• Conducts staff meetings with direct reports
• Participate in roundtable discussions
• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
• Collaborates with service providers on general issues under the guidance of the claims manager
• Effectively communicates with insured’s, claimants, producers, Service Providers, attorneys and all other involved parties regarding claims handling as necessary
• Documents all information in the company’s claim system
• Works on special projects as assigned
• Provides support to Claims Manager on related tasks as needed
• Maintain strict confidentiality on all files and records
• Must be a team player with the desire to assist in other areas when necessary
• Must maintain a good working relationship with peers, Service Providers, defense counsel and Superiors
• Performs all other duties/special projects as assigned
 
SKILLS
• Ability to establish priorities and perform all functions in a timely manner with uninterrupted workflow
• Must have supervisory experience in the Property & Casualty industry
• Must have the ability to identify, analyze, evaluate, and resolve issues
• Must possess strong communication skills
• Must be knowledgeable of Microsoft Word and Excel
• Proficient in Xactimate
 
EXPERIENCE
• Min 5 years related experience
 
EDUCATION
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
• Louisiana Licensed Adjuster
• Flood Certified preferred

 
Job Title: Sr. Operations AnalystJob Location: Metairie, LA
 
Job Description: 
Assists senior management in the deployment and maintenance of the Depopulation program and management of special projects. Coordinates activities between internal departments and external entities, including agents, to achieve business objectives. Uses independent judgment in decision making to ensure programs and projects are on track.  Troubleshoots problems and issues to satisfactory resolution. Manages projects both at a portfolio and individual project level.

 

 
Job Requirements: 
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Coordinates all aspects of the Depopulation program, and ensures all activities are conducted accurately, on a timely basis
• Works closely with Sr. Management in the prioritization and timely delivery of projects
• Manages and communicates with business partners to solve problems and establish priorities
• Provides quality assurance, facilitates and leads projects
• Analyzes issues for similarities and trends
• Manages special projects as defined and assigned
• Assist in the design/implementation of new projects and functions to improve operations

 
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office tools
• 3-5 years experience in property and casualty insurance operations, preferably in underwriting or claims
• Knowledge of insurance processing
• Supervisory skills
 
EDUCATION
• Bachelors Degree preferred.  An additional ten (10) years relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
