Insurance is available through the Louisiana Fair/Coastal Plan only on property
located within the state of Louisiana when such property is in an insurable
condition, meets all other requirements set forth by the Plan, and basic
property insurance is not obtainable in the normal market. This is a
statutory requirement per Louisiana Revised Statutes Title 22. The tentative
rates quoted here are valid only for properties that satisfy the statutory
requirement.
